Description: The GRC-50 is a medium-capacity, transportable FM radio set designed to provide multichannel, two-way communications in the UHF range. It can be used in conjunction with 4- and 12-channel FDM or 12- or 24-channel PCM equipment. The multichannel radio system (PCM only) can be secured by using Electronic Key Generator, KG-27. In a variety of configurations, the GRC-50 is used as a radio terminal or repeater station in a communication network. The difference between the various configurations determines the number of stacks (components), whether it consists of high or low band, and in which assemblage it is used.
